Breaking News: Ex-DIA Analyst Freed After Serving Decades in Prison for Spying for Cuba | #shorts #news

Authorities announced on Friday that Ana Belen Montes, a former US Defense Intelligence Agency analyst, has been released from prison after serving more than two decades. In 2002, Montes pleaded guilty to spying for Cuba and was given a 25-year sentence for the crime. In addition to revealing the identities of four American spies, the 65-year-old was found to have disclosed numerous other classified details to the Cuban government. Despite the extensive nature of her crime, Montes has now completed her sentence and is free.
