I'm Done With ONE D&D & Wizards Of The Coast

In this video I discuss the ridiculous changes that Hasbro and Wizards Of The Coast are making the the OGL (Open Game Licence) which is going to make third party content and derivative works for Dungeons & Dragons no longer viable. A system that makes it so that we have to pay them royalties but they own everything we produce, and can reproduce it without restrictions. Not a change. This is another example of corporate greed and I'm standing up to it.

Wizards Of The Coast does not own everything they want people to believe they own, D&D 5e is built on community works and off-shoot projects like Critical Roll, and if they insist on doing this, the community will leave. Tabletop RPGs are creative works, and we can and will create our games without the oversight of a corporation. The majority of the stuff in D&D is based on mythology, Tolkien high fantasy, and public domain works like those of HP Lovecraft, which is what inspired most of the stuff they like to claim they have full copyright to like Beholders and Mind Flayers. They do not! There's a reason you play a "halfling" and not a Hobbit in D&D, because the word "Hobbit" is owned by the Tolkien estate, but nothing else is.

I will not be using ONE D&D or to give it it's real name, 6th Edition. I will not be signing away my characters, settings, world building, and rights to a toy company with delusions of grandure. Hasbro can kiss my entire arse!
