Coaching In Session - Ep.225: Understanding Story in the HERE and NOW

Life coaching is more challenging than getting a degree and saying you are a coach. You must be able to facilitate the session and hold the person in whatever space they come ready for that day.

Even exploring the topic of Mother Wound healing and how it impacts women's sense of self-worth and confidence is important to learn. Whether it's how we show up in business, relationships, or parenthood, our mother wound is often the underlying issue of our insecurities and self-doubt.

We live in psychologically aware times, yet mother wound is still taboo. It's Kristina's mission to talk about it candidly and openly to help other women feel like they're not alone with their gaping mother wound.

Kristina grew up with an emotionally immature mother. She was a classic parentified child for a long time, whose default mode was to always help others over meeting my own needs.

She has done tons of inner work, has qualified as a life coach, educated me to support others in a trauma-sensitive manner, and has been specializing in mother wound healing since 2019.

Join the interview with Michael Rearden and Kristina Sheppard as they talk about how our traumas from childhood can affect our adult lives.
