People Always Want To Give You Advice

Good advice can come from anywhere. But bad advice is way more common, and handed out 10x more often. The problem? Most of the time people give you advice on how they think you should live your life. They're giving advice for a life they've never lived, on things they haven't done, and about subjects they're not well versed on. Everybody has 1,000 opinions on how you should be living your life. And if you listen to them your guaranteed one thing, you won't be living the life you wanted. I loved getting advice. Until I actually started trying to do things. That's because most of it was complete garbage. It was coming from people who aren't living the lives I want to live, aren't doing the things I'm trying to do, and have no experience with what I'm trying to build. So, most of it gets chucked out. BUT, some of it was very good advice. Incredible good advice. Which is why you can't throw the baby out with the bath water and never take advice. You just have to get better at vetting it, and not be afraid of making some mistakes along the way.
