The media likes to intentionally overcomplicate this Damar Hamlin cardiac arrest. They work to muddy the waters and the minds of the general public. We're going back to basics to prove a point.

You can argue that factoring underreporting would expose way more cases, and that's true, but these numbers are horrible by themselves - you don't even need to factor underreporting. It's just bringing in unnecessary complexity imho. We're attempting to keep this as simple as possible.

I didn't even touch on the fact that we've had thousands of other cardiac events in the sports world recently. Why are they so focused on THIS one?
