Frank Clark is recording these classic fables, tales, myths, folklore and other wisdom stories for his grandsons and any other grandchildren he may have someday.

He is starting by reading from Wisdom Tales from Around the World; Fifty Gems of Story and Wisdom from Such Diverse Traditions as Sufi, Zen, Taoist, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, African and Native American by Heather Forest, copyright 1996 by Heather Forest.

Today's reading is from Jataka Tales, and is called The Talkative Turtle. It is about a turtle talking two geese into taking them on a flight with them.

It was recorded in Ponte Vedre Beach, Florida on 1/4/23.

Frank Clark has been many things in his life, from a trash man in Stone Harbor, New Jersey to a police officer in Philadelphia, to a revenue officer at the Internal Revenue Service. He retired in 2019 as a front-line manager in the IRS Appeals office after almost 40 years of government service.

Frank graduated from Park College in 1977 with a BA in Management and the University of Miami in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies.
