"Kali Fontanilla, a former high school teacher at Rancho San Juan High School in Salinas Valley, quit her job and moved to Florida after publicly denouncing the “leftist indoctrination” of students in California classrooms through ethnic studies programs. She taught in the state of California for about 15 years but left her teaching position and moved out of state after speaking out against critical race theory and Black Lives Matter." She took these experiences, coupled them with her education and created the Exodus Institute.
