Bounded rationality is a theory that affirms that human beings are not perfectly rational actors. The goal of this series is to explore the theory of bounded rationality in tandem with the socio-political topic of migration. We’re going to explore how human beings' naturally imperfect and limited capacity for reason and rationality may be the cause of our harmful misperceptions of immigration issues. Discussed topics include bounded rationality and expansions of many of its components, bias concerning migration, and the specific example of the Mexico-United States border.
