Cutting a ring off my finger

First and foremost! I’m am what is considered a tool guru. I am a highly trained expert on all things tool related and their proper use. Do this at your own risk. If you cut your finger, it’s a good sign that you should have had an expert like me perform the job.
My fingers have swelled up so bad that my ring is cutting off the circulation. Blue is not the color an extremity should be. I used a dremel in a vise, with a cutoff wheel. I also had a spray bottle of water handy to cool the ring down.
