California Weather Update - Trees topple in more than one area in California. The storm damage has resulted in trees falling in Northern California and Southern California. Even parts of Washington have experienced trees toppling. All Californians need to stay updated with the California Weather Update as the day progresses. Same with Washington State.

Power Outages:

With the trees toppling, power is out in several locations. Not only is California experiencing falling trees but also falling fences and items are being caught in the high winds and blown away. One lady commented that her falling fence had been propped up more than once and it was still not secure. Things such as garbage cans and anything that's outside.

There are 163,530 people experiencing power outages in the State of California and 14,878 people without power in the State of Washington. All Californians and the people of Washington will need to contact their power providers regarding their power outages.

There were several images on Twitter showing falling trees in the middle of roads and along sidewalks. It's early in California and there will be more falling trees images as the day goes on. The storm damage will need to be assessed to find out the estimated cost of the storm damage.

We reported fallen trees in Northern California, Southern California, Washington, and parts of Oregon. The storm has affected many areas. The most significant threat we can see is the high wind damage and extremely wet ground with falling trees. Some people are being injured by driving and trees falling on their vehicles.

I don't possess a major in Meteorology or Geology nor am I a topologist, yet the earth and its experiences fascinate my curiosity. I have learned to love nature and am spiritually crawling my way back to understanding nature.
