Financially, we will spend more money on our health than on anything else over our lifetime. Why is it not a higher priority for everyone?

Even without any major medical issues (which statistically you will have one per decade), we still spend more on our health than anything else we spend money on. How you spend that money early in life will dictate how much you spend on your health later in life. Don't spend enough now and you are almost guaranteed to spend more later than you should have to.
