Rybar Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on January 3-5

Ukrainian units continue undertaking acts of aggression on the territory of the Russian Federation.

UAV was detected and destroyed by air defense in Rostov region.

▪️UAVs' attacks were also recorded over Crimean peninsula. The attempted attack was repelled in the Belbek airfield area.

Several more air targets were destroyed by air defense near Sevastopol and near Nizhnegorskiy.

▪️Positional battles continue in Starobil's'k direction. The parties conduct mutual reconnaissance and strengthen the current defence lines.

Nevertheless, AFU units conducted several unsuccessful night attacks on Russian positions near Kuzemivka.

▪️Wagner's PMC's assault squads are fighting heavy street battles and pushing through the AFU defense in Soledar.

In recent days, the Wagner's have seized several enemy strongholds and Dekons'ka railway station.

▪️The battle for Bakhmut continues: despite the entering of reserve units into battle, AFU are losing ground in the city and outskirts.

Over the past time, Russian forces have seized several enemy strongholds near Pidhorodne and Klishchiivka.

▪️Ukrainian units carry on to conduct chaotic rocket and artillery attacks on the Donetsk agglomeration.

As a result of the strikes, several people were killed. Residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged.

▪️Another war crime of the Kiev regime was recorded in the city of Vasylivka, Zaporizhzhia region.

A rocket attack from the HIMARS MLRS hit an apartment building: 6 people were killed, about 30 were seriously wounded.
