This is the moment Florida deputies rescue a lost hiker after joining ground and aerial forces to locate her.

The unnamed woman called emergency services after getting lost while hiking near the St. Johns River in east Orange County, Florida.

Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) Aviation Section spotted the hiker from above, and she was eventually rescued by a patrol deputy.

The OCSO released aerial footage of the rescue and shared a few safety tips for other wannabe hikers: "If possible, never hike alone. Avoid going off the marked trail. Stay hydrated and bring drinking water. Know where you are going ahead of time and tell someone. Bring a cell phone and make sure it's charged."
