Cedric Struggs will be resentenced after court grants his petition for release

Cedric Struggs, the Bakersfield man who has been in jail for more than 40 years for felony murder under a now-defunct California law returned to court on Thursday. 23ABC's Breanna Polk spoke with Struggs' mother, Doris Shotwell, about her reaction to today's court action. Struggs' resentencing hearing has been scheduled for February 2.
