The god was the daimyo's mansion god of the Inaba family, the bride of Kasuganotsubone.
It is now a sanctuary cherished by the local people.
Kasuganotsubone was the nanny of the third shogun, Tokugawa Iemitsu. She lobbied Tokugawa Ieyasu to establish Iemitsu's position as shogun.
She lobbied Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun, to establish Iemitsu's position as shogun, and devoted herself to him with all her might.
She is also the person who built the foundation of the inner chambers of Edo Castle.
Although she separated from her daughter-in-law when she became a nanny, she later took in her grandchildren and raised them.
She also contributed to the continuation and development of the family by taking in and raising her grandchildren.
The Inaba family continued until the end of the Edo period.
