This week I tried to make a custom coin and ingot..
That didn’t go as planned..😑
Don’t worry, I’ll try again!!
So I made the channel for the flow waaaaay to narrow for these.. Especially for the coin, there was no flow at all..
The ingot stopped at the end so it didn’t fill the whole space. That’s why the top side doesn’t look that good.. (I prepared other molds for the next video, if those don’t work out, I’ll need to print thicker, that could help to get better flow)

So I tried again but no luck with the ingot.. Coin isn’t looking perfect either.. But I was glad the coin was ok..

Now, the steamblow..
I used those molds a week before filming this video. No problems with it.
Preheated them all, and the first ingot was ok.
But the second one😐. Damn!!
I was stupid enough to pour again🤦🏻‍♂️.
But now I know to not do this in the future😅.

I got plenty copper to remelt now!
But I’ll keep the blowout copper shot I collected. I was very lucky it blew the other way!
So use safety equipment and preheat! Maybe inspect the cast iron molds before use😅. I’ll definitely will do that from now on!
