How to create a vision board:

STEP 1: REFLECT ON THE PAST YEAR
Take some time to think about this last year. Write down what you liked and what you didn’t like. Make some notes about what you want 2023 to look like. The more descriptive your notes are, the easier time you will have making your vision board.

STEP 2: PICK YOUR GOALS
After you have done your reflection, it’s time to take your notes and turn your notes into goals for 2023. When making your goals, think about all the areas of your life that you want to focus on. Pick the areas that you are wanting to see a change in.

STEP 3: COLLECT WORDS AND IMAGES THAT REFLECT YOUR GOALS
Use your magazines and print-outs of pictures and words to help you visualize your goals. Cut your images and words out that describe the goals you are wanting to achieve in 2023.

STEP 4: ORGANIZE YOUR IMAGES ON YOUR POSTER BOARD
Take your images that you cut out from step 3 and organize them on your board. Group them by your different goals into separate sections. Then, use your glue stick to secure your images to your poster board.

STEP 5: PLACE YOUR VISION BOARD IN A PRIME LOCATION
Take your finished vision board and place it in a location of your home that you can view daily. You will want to have a prime location for the vision board, so that it’s easy for you to access your vision board. The more you see the vision board, the more you will be able to focus on your vision.

STEP 6: MAKE TIME FOR YOUR VISION BOARD
Make a set time to look at your vision board daily. It doesn’t have to be for very long, you only need to have some visualization time to increase the opportunity for your vision to be accomplished. It’s all about focus. The more you focus on your goals, the more likely you will achieve them.
