The United States will use Trump-era restrictions to rapidly expel Cuban, Nicaraguan and Haitian migrants caught illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas explained on Thursday (January 5). "Title 42 or not, the border is not open," Mayorkas told reporters.
