85-year-old woman attacked and robbed inside NYC garage

It was reported to police that on Friday, December 9, 2022, at approximately 1905 hours, inside of 74-10 35 Avenue, the 85-year-old female victim was walking through the parking garage using a walker when an unknown individual approached from behind and pushed her down to the ground. The individual then removed the victim's purse, which was in the walker. The individual fled the location on foot and entered the transit system at the 74 Street and Roosevelt Avenue station. The victim sustained minor injuries to the right side of her body and was treated on scene by EMS. Property reported stolen included the victim's purse, credit cards and personal ID.
