Russian forces fire Hurricane multiple rocket launchers at Ukrainian position
RUSSIAN forces fire Hurricane multiple rocket launchers at Ukrainian positions.
The footage appears to show soldiers aboard a Russian multiple rocket launcher (MLRS) 'Hurricane' - bearing the infamous white 'V' symbol - positioning themselves in the middle of a field at an unknown location.
After securing the launching vehicle in place, they apparently launch dozens of rockets into the air as they fire on unseen targets.
The 'V' is one of the symbols, as well as the letters 'Z' and 'O' that can be seen painted on Russian military vehicles taking part in the invasion of Ukraine.
The footage was from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on January 3, along with a statement: 'Fog, rain and impenetrable mud do not interfere with the crews of the 'Uragan' MLRS of the artillery units of the Pacific Fleet marines to carry out the tasks of destroying positions, equipment and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
