Don’t Even Give a Small Foothold to the Devil

Exposing yourself to dark images, messages and themes is giving a foothold to the enemy. It’s giving the enemy permission to influence you. Even when going trick-or-treating, you/your children are surrounded by images of darkness, fear and death. If a demon of anxiety can enter a child by seeing a brief moment of a horror movie, then seeds of darkness and even demons can enter one when willingly exposing themselves to images, sounds and themes of darkness, and stepping into the devil’s territory by participating and celebrating his holiday.
