“To justify a warrantless entry or search under the “emergency aid” doctrine, the following elements must be satisfied:
(1) The officer must have an objectively reasonable basis to believe that an emergency requires that he or she provide immediate assistance to protect or preserve life or property, or to prevent serious injury;
(2) The search must not be primarily motivated by the intent to arrest or seize evidence; and
(3) There must be some basis, approximating probable cause, to believe that there is a reasonable nexus or connection between the emergency and the area or places to be searched.”
