Being a Christian and struggling with mental health problems like anxiety and depression can feel very discouraging and shameful, but God isn't mad at you! In fact, God desires to help you, walk alongside you in your struggle, and rescue and redeem you from your suffering! I don’t know when the church decided to take a hard left turn and started propagating that God only heals in one form or fashion. But the sad reality is this messaging has kept a lot of people bound in the shadows and suffering in silence. It's time to break the silence and speak out about mental health. I hope these truths affirm you in whatever you are walking in, just as they have helped me in my battles
