DUD or SPUD - Mac and Me

So 'Mac and Me' from 1988 shares a load of similarities to Nukie.
Both movies have aliens who are meant to be good, going on 5 star GTA rampages, have no problem knocking one out in public and are general menaces.
Does this one hold up to the standard of Nukie and get a SPUD?
Or fall flat to Earth with a DUD?
