The previous day Escanaba and Lake Superior Railroad locomotives ELS 501 (SD40-2) and ELS 503 (SD40) passed by here with over 75 cars in tow, but today they've got much less heading back south.. They stopped at Breitung Ave in East Kingsford, MI to grab some rail cars off a side spur before continuing down towards Wisconsin. Not sure about you, but this this seems like far too much power for this light of a load.. No?
