On Monday, August 8, 2022 around 5pm the city of Niagara, Wisconsin went into an emergency lock-down for a possible hostage situation on Highway 141 after attempting to serve an arrest warrant. The entire city was blocked off, including Highway 141 at Highway 8 to the south and near Breitung Cut-Off Road in Michigan where the MI State Police shut the road down..
According to law enforcement the suspect barricaded himself in the house and had hostages, in the hours that followed cars were dragged from the yard and police used gas trying to drive the suspect out. Around 1am on August 9 police made entry, only to discover the suspect was NOT inside the house.. He had escaped?
My buddy was filming it live on Facebook just a few doors down when after 30 some minutes a police officer forced him to take the stream down. At the point he was filming the suspect was long gone...
