Home Security On A Budget! Cameras, Locks, & Alarms!

Home security doesn't have to be expensive, in fact, many of the items I have used and tested cost under $25. So let’s begin.

Door Knob: https://amzn.to/3GkeVz4
Door & Window Alarm: https://amzn.to/3Qf4Tny
Security Cameras: https://amzn.to/3VI4Bqp
Alarm System: https://amzn.to/3vFdDdm

Have all external doors secure with locks and not floating copies of keys.
Deadbolts are great if you can put them in, but something is better than nothing. Install is relatively easy if you watch a youtube video or read the instructions. Only give keys to those you 100% trust.

Door alarms & Window Alarms:
You can go with simple noise alarms or wifi connected smart alarms. But for about $5 a piece, you can install a deterrent that will alert you to an intruder. Install is as easy as line up, stick, and go. You can turn the alarms on and off when needed.

Budget-Friendly Security Cameras:
With so many brands out there just research and pick what you like. I use Ring and love it, but if you want a lower-cost option I would recommend looking into Bink by Amazon. When researching make sure you understand any subscription costs and recording cloud storage. I have 5 Ring cameras and I pay $10 a month for unlimited recording on all cameras and video history for up to 180 Days. So try out what you can afford and return it if it’s not just right for your situation.

Alarm Sytems:
When thinking about a full security system you need to think of compatibility with what you might already have. For myself, I use ring a lot and when I was looking at full systems I’m much more likely to go with whatever works best what I have already.

Self & Home Defense:
I would also look into home defense items like pepper spray, personal alarms, etc.

Thank you for watching and stay safe out there.
