Canada: Funeral procession and service for OPP Constable Grzegorz Pierzchala – January 4, 2023

A funeral procession and service is held in Barrie, Ont., for fallen police officer Grzegorz ‘Greg’ Pierzchala. The OPP constable was killed in the line of duty on December 27, 2022. Speaking at the service are Doug Ford (premier of Ontario), Elizabeth Dowdeswell (lieutenant governor of Ontario), Michael Kerzner (solicitor general of Ontario), Thomas Carrique (commissioner of the OPP), Witold Dzielski (Polish ambassador to Canada), Justyna and Michal Pierzchala (Constable Pierzchala's siblings), and Sergeant Blair Hodder (Canadian Air Force).
