Rainy Winter Days On Our Homestead

In today's video, Douglas will show you how he keeps himself busy on rainy winter days on our homestead.

We are Douglas and Keri and we recently quit our jobs, sold everything, and in September of 2022 we took a leap of faith and moved onto our off grid homestead property in the high desert of Cochise County, Arizona. Follow along with us as we build our off grid homestead property from scratch with our two rebels, Willow & Zoey and our 16 y/o kitty, Boo.

Rainy, cold days can be tough because it means we are kinda stuck inside and not able to work that much on our current outdoor projects…it’s just too muddy and cold! So, on days like these, we often end up doing a lot of research and planning! Douglas is going to show you how he gets the ideas in his head out onto paper and he will also show you a little more about the plans for the hyperadobe chicken coop tower and how we will be building the roof.
