The Cocoon Sweater: With or Without Planned Pooling

The Cocoon Sweater is sort of a right of passage it seems in the crochet world. It's one that I have not achieved until now. I've tried it a few times in the past but just didn't like the fit. I promised myself I would push through to the end on this one so all of you could see the journey and what makes it work and what doesn't. I use a panel of planned pooling and I do teach how to create that panel, but you can use a rectangle of anything you want to make this sweater and I would love to see all the variations so please share pictures with me on Facebook at Ginell's Quarantine Crochet.

Here are the links I promised.

First here are my affiliate links in case you need to get supplies. I have found that the best place to find pooling yarn online is through Amazon. As an affiliate, I may earn a small commission if you choose to purchase from these links at no extra cost to you.

Amazon... this is just a general search for "Yarn", once you are in, you can search for whatever you need

Lion Brand is my favorite yarn, I am so excited to partner with them!

Here is the link to the original video where I taught planned pooling. In the description of this video you will find an extensive list of all the yarns you can pool with, however, this list is by no means complete. You will find a lot more out there in the wild and I show you how to do that in this video.

Here is a link to the list of pooling yarns on my Facebook Group. It is on the Featured tab for the group. One day there will be a blog if I can figure out how to make more hours in a day.
