Most times we don't see freight trains going south this late in the day, but they must have had a rush for this freight to be in Crivitz, WI sooner. ELS 501 (EMD SD40-2) of the Escanaba & Lake Superior Railroad operates along this line from Channing, MI to Crivitz, WI and onto Green Bay via CN tracks where much of the wood and metal goes. It's hard to believe this engine is nearly 50 years old! Plus stick around until after the video for a random chipmunk trying to make a friendship. ha ha
