In an effort to combat food shortages worldwide, back in 2013, The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), a part of the United Nations issued a report saying the world should get ready to start eating insects. The agenda is well underway across the world with various countries implementing cricket protein (edible insects) into various processed foods that are already on market shelves. This is another example of the incentive for us to grow our own food.
