We wanted to see if you could actually mix MECO with anything else since it's so very Seventies and ever so Disco. So, we added Mitch Ryder and Detroit (another Seventies derivative) to see if it would work tempo-wise and since it does, we stuck the Segue City Special label on it for today... whew... almost made us want to go see if we had saved out platform shoes and polyester suits from Robert Hall...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
