Tesla is working on a next-gen vehicle platform. Is it only about cheaper cars?

In the earnings call Tesla CEO Elon Musk told us they are working on the next electric vehicle platform they would be cheaper to manufacture. When pressed Elon did not give details. In this video using already know information I postulate on what's coming in the future.
