Life Lesson For Gig Work. My Old Coach Helped Me Out! ❤️

There are so many childhood lessons I replay in my mind as an adult. It took a lot for me to get as far as I have in life, and I always pay homage to those who help me get this far. I wanted to share a bit of advice my former coach (Mike Wade #KirkwoodHighSchool) gave me, hoping it might potentially help you dig deep one day as well.

We are not always gonna be viewed as the victory stories in life, but it doesn't matter what they think about you. It's about what YOU think about you!

Gig work is not for the faint-hearted. It will take courage to wake up every day knowing you have no safety net. You have to create your own benchmarks and levels of success, and there will be a lot of obstacles in your way.

Good luck. Run hard. Don't look back to see if they're catching up. The victory comes when you focus on YOU! 🏃‍♂️
