LYFT Rental Scam! It's Not YOUR Car!

Lyft allows drivers to rent a car to earn money on the platform, but the moment that car is involved in an accident, Lyft acts like it's your car! It's not your car, as you have no legal ownership of it. You only POSSESS it while renting it for work.

Possession is not LEGAL Ownership, so Lyft seems to be forcing drivers to "assume ownership" of the rental by refusing to allow them to possess another rental vehicle to continue working to make money.

It's not your car, so why aren't drivers allowed to rent another vehicle under their account with Lyft in the SAME MANNER in which the wrecked vehicle was rented? What's the logic?
