Faith in God's Word : Hasten the Word

Is there anything we can do as followers of Jesus that removes the hindrances to God's Word coming to pass in our lives. If there are, don't you want to know about them. If we have failed to get our house in order, God's Word will seem like it is taking a long time to come to pass - but who's fault is that? However, when we're in agreement with God's Word on the inside and outside - God will move thoroughly and quickly to bring His Word to pass.
