The Bill of Rights is now celebrating its 231st anniversary – but it has been assailed by wicked men, the federal government, and the federal courts for many decades. Of the ten amendments – the tenth amendment has suffered the worst.

The 10th Amendment states: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Is there a state anywhere in America that believes this anymore? Is there a state anywhere that stands on this anymore? That musters defiance to a federal beast that has long left its constitutional restraints?

The doctrine of the lesser magistrates is demonstrated by the interposition of lesser civil authorities. When the superior authority (like a governor or federal judiciary) acts lawlessly – it is the duty of the lesser magistrates to interpose and not obey their unlawful actions. The lesser magistrate doctrine was first formalized by Christian men in 1550, but has also been seen in non-Christian nations showing it is natural to man.
