GAETZ: “It was a brief and productive discussion.”
Reporter: “How was it productive?”
GAETZ: “In so far that it was brief.”
(Laughter)
Reporter: “Could you elaborate bit more?”
GAETZ: “I’m sure I could.”
Reporter: “Has he won your support yet, congressman?”
GAETZ: “No.”
Reporter: “Why not?”
GAETZ: “I think I’ve laid that out exactly. I tell you what, I’ll send you the speech I gave to Turning Point, I was able to extend my remarks there. I’ll refer you — “
Reporter: “I’m just curious, when you say productive, it didn’t nudge you a bit toward ‘yes?’”
GAETZ: “It was brief and productive.”
Reporter: “That’s — that’s a different tone than you’ve struck before.”
GAETZ: “Thanks for noticing.”
Reporter: “So has he given in to your demands?”
GAETZ: “It was a brief and productive discussion.”
Reporter: “You might vote for him tomorrow?”
