Star Ocean: The Divine Force (Raymond's Story) - Video Game Review

Welcome to my thoughts on/review of Star Ocean: The Divine Force after completing Raymond's story! At around 16:07 I go into spoilers while sharing my screenshots, so you have been warned. This is my hidden gem of 2022 and after playing through Raymond's story, I can't wait to go through it again as Laeticia. Featuring a great cast of characters, solid story, and fun combat, Star Ocean: The Divine Force follows our heroes as they must stop Emperor Bohld'or and the Scorpium Network from subjugating Aster IV and the rest of the galaxy to their evil control. As much I did enjoy the game, I can't overlook the problems. There were quite a few times when I glitched out after exploring the world map with Duma, so I had to either switch out my character or use fast travel in order to move again. There was also lag and framerate problems during fights with a lot of enemies. Overall though, still a great experience and I highly recommend it if you like character driven games with faced paced action rpg combat.
