God is a practical God! Part two!

In Part one, I talk about Mark 6, but first I talk about John 8.Show more

People are always quoting this "You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free". But they hardly ever give us the entire truthful quote which completes the previous statement before the "And" which they leave out. This first part of the truth about truth making one "free" is the following from John 8:31 AND 32. If you continue in the Lord's, Word, then are you His disciples indeed AND you shall KNOW the truth, JESUS IS TRUTH, and the TRUTH, Jesus, shall make you free!

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:31-32

I did not grow up reading the Bible. It was just an old black book that if I ever opened had words and sentences in it that I did not understand. It was ONLY AFTER I accepted Jesus into my heart and life that I was able to understand, I still don't understand it all but continually learning as all Christians that continue to read the Bible, and fall in love with the Word of God, the Bible! That was after 8 years of full-time college and no degree.

I share about how my mom would dress us up for Easter Sunday, with a beautiful Easter dress with polka dots and always brand-new black patent leather shoes, we would lather up with vaseline the night before Easter Sunday morning to go to church.

I talk about how the first memory I had about God, Jesus, was when I loved to climb our big old cherry tree in the backyard and read my library book. That is when I first sensed God's presence in my life!

Jesus is Jewish and He came for His own, first! He is their Messiah!

Jesus always marvels at our unbelief, as he did in Mark 6, back then!

I send this, His Word, OUT into the atmosphere!

Our country and world are on life support. I pray He brings us out and holds us up. He upholds all things by the power of HIs Word, the Word of His power!

Some things like traumas and shock in our lives may take more time to heal. But I pray God heals our traumas and shocking things in our lives.

It's NOT #SpookyLand talking about God and these #Spiritual things! It's NOT spooky land talking about Jesus, the Bible, the Word of God!

I love washing dishes, by hand, doing laundry, cleaning, taking out the trash! It helps me to keep my feet on the ground and be practical! This is all who God is! Don't be afraid of it! Don't be afraid of work! Don't be afraid to pay the bills and live in this practical world! Enjoy it and give God the praise for it and the things He provides on our practical life!
