Get into the ½ kneeing position and then clean the barbell to the front racked position, OR if the weight is too heavy you can clean the barbell standing first, and the lower yourself into the ½ kneeling position placing the back knee on a pad if you’d like. Press the weight straight up towards the ceiling avoiding the face until the weight is overhead and the arms are locked out straight. Try to keep your abs in tight to prevent excessive lower back rounding. Lower the weight under control until the weight is near the collar bones and then repeat or the desired repetitions. After your reps lower the bar over the front knee making sure not to drop it on your leg and hurt yourself. Use bumper plates if you can to avoid damaging equipment or flooring. Repeat on both sides.
