Parashat Vayechi: Genesis 47:28—50:26 – The Value of a Blessing

This week’s Torah portion: Parashat Vayechi is found in Genesis 47:28—50:26. In this last parashah of the Book of Genesis, we read as Jacob “blesses” his twelve sons. Yet, as we read through the “blessings”, you begin to notice that these blessings don’t come across as what we would consider “blessings”.
