'THE HOLINESS OF GOD'
TEXT: PSALMS 99:5,8-9; PSALMS 22:3; PSALMS 86:8

INTRODUCTION: There is a plethora of attributes that characterize and define who God is, but today I will be solely focusing on His holiness. Above all else, God is holy. Holiness is His primary attribute and it's without doubt His greatest and most exalted attribute. Now, many will say that God is love, which is true, but He is holy before He is love. Many will say that God is righteous, which is true, but He is holy before He is righteous. Many will say that God is perfectly Just, which is true, but He is holy before He is just. God is holy.

IV. THE HOLINESS OF GOD APPLIED IN THE LIFE OF THE BELIEVER

CONCLUSION: The holiness of God is an attribute that is essential to our relationship with God. It is an attribute that enables us to conform to the image of God, the will of God, and His way. This onlycomes with obedience to his Holy word…when we live by his word, and when what this book says becomes engrained in our hearts and rules every aspect of our lives and existence.
