What started as a couple rainy days driving across Montana, turned into a sunny and warm day following Lewis and Clark up and over Lemhi Pass into Idaho. Quick quiz: how did a beaver almost cause a disaster for the expedition?

(And a disclaimer: I mind numbingly kept talking about the Snake River. That, of course was totally wrong. So every time you hear me say that, pretend you are hearing me say SALMON RIVER. 🙂)
