Is Alexa Listening for More than Her Name? #shorts

Smart speaker companies often claim their devices ONLY listen for their name. However, my personal experience a few years ago with an Amazon Echo contradicts that claim. My daughter was telling a story about her day when she said, "I thought I was going to die." My Amazon Echo immediately interrupted her and asked "should I call 911"?

That was the day I purged my home of all 4 Amazon Echo devices I had at the time.
