Sauerkraut Rye Bread in the bread machine! Soft and light!

It is a foggy, gloomy day. Mild, but damp. Very damp. London-ish. Seattle-ish. Also, I have to go back to work in less than 3 days and I'm in denial, asking myself "tell me again why I so readily agreed to un-retire?" I've not started the countdown to May 24th yet but check back in February...

So I decided to try another bread recipe. Why not? This one is for sauerkraut fans only. There are such people; I'm one of them, so there must be others.

What do you get when you put the sauerkraut inside the rye bread instead of on top? Less sogginess! All these needs is some good aged cheese. Or a cream cheese and green Castelvetrano olives--tasty. Think I'll have another slice!
I was expecting a dense loaf but this is soft and light--more like a deli rye. Very nice!

Easy to make!
