Things you never see in Spring or Summer, but you will see in early winter. Just because it is wet and rainy is no reason not to go walk along or near a stream. In winter extra precautions are needed, including carrying a change of clothes wrapped in plastic just in case you need them along with waterproof strike anywhere matches just in case you need to make a fire, and make sure they are securely stored in a thick Ziploc bag.

Join me on my next organised walk along deserted roads, and unknown winter trails. Exercise your common law rights and go for a trek along public lands, snowmobile trails, and closed winter roads. Just do anything stupid or unlawful.
