Brazil remembers late football player Pelé

A public wake is taking place in the city of Santos on Monday for the late football player Pelé. His body will lie for 24 hours in the stadium he spent most of his career playing in.

“Like a circle that comes to a full close, Pele’s final farewell will be in the same ground where he gave so much joy to his fans,” remarked Stefano Pozzebon.

There will be seven days of mourning in the city of Santos to honor the legendary player.
