Eureka Seven - Anime Review

Welcome to my review of the 2005 anime series, Eureka Seven! This is a mecha anime series that is also a great coming of age and romance tale. The story follows Renton Thurston, a 14 year old boy and son of the hero, Adroc Thurston who is tired of his boring hometown and just wants to see the world. His wish is granted when Eureka crashes into his home with a giant robot called the Nirvash type ZERO and she takes him aboard the Gekkostate where he meets Holland, Talho, Matthieu, among many others. Some of the most prominent voice actors in this series are Johnny Yong Bosch as Renton, Stephanie Sheh as Eureka, Crispin Freeman as Holland, Kari Wahlgren as Anemone, and Kim Strauss as Dewey. Over the course of 50 episodes, Renton goes on all sorts of adventures, shares laughs and tears with his new friends and family, and falls in love with Eureka in what is an excellent anime series. I highly recommend it! My next anime review is most likely going to be the sequel series, Eureka Seven AO (Astral Ocean).
